I was just a girl
who was drowning deep in the ocean,
I used to hide inside a cave,
I was a girl in a darkness,
I was a girl who was too afraid to be...
To be anything I wanted to be.
I didn't want to be seen,
I couldn't even say a word,
I couldn't even feel my breath,
I didn't even recognize who I was,
Being afraid of the world,
Being afraid of myself,
Was a huge mistake that I've ever had in my entire life.
Wouldn't it be too late to change?
